Wenwei Gu

Wenwei Gu is currently an Assistant Professor at the College of Software, Nankai University.He received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) in July 2025, under the supervision of Prof. Michael R. Lyu (IEEE/ACM/AAAS Fellow), a pioneer in Software Reliability Engineering.During his doctoral studies, he was an active member of the Huawei–CUHK Joint Lab on Software Reliability, where his research was published in top international journals and conferences.

To date, he has published 13 high-quality papers in venues such as TOSEM, TSE, ICSE, ISSRE, DSN, EMSE, and AAAI.Among these, five are first-author papers in CCF-A or CCF-B ranked venues.He has also served as a reviewer for numerous international conferences and journals, including KDD’26, AAAI’26, ASE’25, ACL’25, ICSE’25, FSE’24, ISSRE’24, DSN’25, ISSTA’24, ESEC/FSE’24, ISSRE’23, DSN’23, ISSRE’22, SRDS’22, ESEC/FSE’22, TSE, and TSC.
